Not! look nearly that good! Your basting is fine, you started from the center which is great. Since you are doing in the ditch quilting, it's better that you basted not there, you won't run over yourself as much. Have fun with it, you're doing great!Colleen and Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12106662082514042953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7014682225082729212.post-90757918687361494132011-06-15T08:47:35.953-07:002011-06-15T08:47:35.953-07:00Thanks P! So, that's why I thread basted - but maybe it doesn't matter!Akihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02330188955732088389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7014682225082729212.post-28010737018476449192011-06-15T06:05:38.780-07:002011-06-15T06:05:38.780-07:00It's beautiful! Quilting is addictive, just to warn you. ;)

They make these cool little basting pins now, so you don't have to hand baste with thread (unless you want to). They're like a small safety pin with a little bend in the middle. Also, there's basting spray, but I just use good old Rave aerosol hairspray.

Have fun quilting!Paulettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06181665241824945247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7014682225082729212.post-15396163817754044012011-06-13T14:07:01.750-07:002011-06-13T14:07:01.750-07:00Thanks Jennifer! I would just complete it, and if it was a little messed up have it be my 'first quilt' and use it for reference! good luck!

(Really, it looks awesome!)Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01984579299998920065noreply@blogger.com
