DIY Sunburst Mirror

Remember the embroidery hoops I bought a couple weeks ago from the thrift store?

Well, I made this:

using an embroidery hoop, a small round mirror, a few dowels, some gold paint, a hot glue gun, and a 40% off coupon for Michael's Craft Store. All for around $6-7.

Can't wait to photograph it in it's new home soooon! What do you think?

  6. Sure! I just hot glued them to the back of the mirror. I would add a circular piece of cardstock or cardboard or something to cover the dowels on the back when you're done hot glue-ing to add some stability too.
